Regarding monetising HERE.

I believe HERE would be ideally suited to gaming in quite a few scenarios.

Many games utilise mapping. HERE could be utilised in gaming in a new generation of games developed around real world mapping.

Nokia have mapped 190 odd countries and I envision games developed around real world maps.

Imagine a driving game or a racing SIMM where people actually drive through the streets of Paris or Rome utilising HERE mapping.

Nokia could partner with gaming titans such as MSFT Xbox or Sony Play Station or ZNGA to produce games based on real world mapping.

I also had an idea for a real world game involving HERE mapping where people participate in the real world with their smartphones. It could for example involve huge teams of participants running around a city like New York or London playing a game in real time.

Gaming companies such as ZNGA could provide real world prizes involving cars or holidays or cash.

If Nokia HERE could license HERE mapping to gaming companies such as MSFT Xbox or Sony PlayStation then revenues could be enormous :)

Voorlopig zijn ze flink in de min.

Nokia lijkt goed om te kunnen gaan met alle slechte economische nieuws. Ben maar weer ingestapt op 4,875. Blijft long tot 5,09.

Heb je beter gedaan dan ik. Het is nu 4,70!! Kan geen oorzaak vinden, behalve de gebruikelijke angst om de economie, schuld VS enz.

ik wacht tot € 4,50 ; ik verwcaht echt dat we dat wel nog gaan halen. dat dacht ik al, maar met de huidige tech aversie in de US kan dat deze week nog wel eens lukken.

ik weet het natuurlijk niet hoor Lisa, maar ik denk dat er geen aanwijsbare oorzaak is. Als je zoekt vindt je vast wel iets wat een verklaring zou kunnen zijn, maar ik denk dat de echte reden gewoon de sell-off van Tech stocks in de VS is. Kijk eens wat BBRY doet, terwijl er gewoon een bod op tafel ligt wat bijna 15% hoger ligt, en er geruchten gonzen dat er wel een paar meer biedingen gaan komen...

Maar veel tech stocks hadden gisteren een flinke dip tussen de 2% en 12%. Terwijl Nokia maar 1% omlaag ging. Ik weet het ook niet, maar schrok wel. 4,65 was een betere aankoop moment geweest dan 4,875 :(

misschien, maar vergeet niet dat je over het algemeen het meeste rendement behaalt door je aan vooraf gestelde aan en verkoopmomenten te houden. Niet panikeren dus, deed je in het verleden met grotere dalingen ook nooit:)
