Het pavlov-effect van de (ongegronde) stijging van de olieprijs nav het conflict in Israel is voorbij - terug naar de orde van de dag: SBM zakt. En dit terwijl Shell deze dagen op z'n hoogste koers in 22 jaar noteert. "Bijzonder" doesn't cut it.

Tja de relatie tussen Shell en SBMO zou de olieprijs moeten zijn, maar daar zie je in de koersen niets van terug. Zijn verder niet met elkaar te vergelijken.

Shell heeft in 2020 het dividend met 66% gekort. In '21 begonnen met een miljarden aandeel inkoop programma wat nog steeds loopt. Al bijna 20% van alle aandelen opgekocht, waardoor het dividend weer kan groeien met 4% per jaar (of meer).

SBM Offshore is pleased to announce the successful installation of the 3 floating wind units for the Provence Grand Large pilot project to their final location 17 kilometers off the Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, near Marseille, France. This marks a major milestone in the company’s Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation scope.

Provence Grand Large is the first project in the world to use a tension leg floater developed by SBM Offshore in cooperation with IFP Energies Nouvelles. SBM Offshore's floater results in reduced motion and stress on the turbine components, hence is compatible with all wind turbines. The minimal footprint of this type of floater represents also an optimal solution for the development of floating wind farms.

The anchoring system installation and hook-up of the floaters were managed and executed using our construction vessel Normand Installer.

The subsea cables will be installed from the floaters to the Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône station, with first electron anticipated early 2024 following a testing period.

The 25MW pilot farm is composed of three tension leg floaters, each supporting 8.4MW wind turbine generator supplied by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. These are the most powerful turbines installed offshore in France today.

Provence Grand Large is expected to produce the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 45,000 inhabitants.

This project is a testimony of SBM Offshore's commitment to the energy transition, reducing emissions and developing new energy solutions.

Dit floating wind project zou institutionele beleggers weer op het spoor kunnen brengen van SBM en daarmee de vraag naar het aandeel stimuleren. (ESG)

De afgelopen dagen SBM stapsgewijs aangekocht tegen een GAK van ca 11,90 a 11,95 omdat ik de koers toch onderhand wel wat te laag gewaardeerd vind en ze nog flink wat potentie kunnen krijgen gezien de gebeurtenissen in de wereld kwa oorlog en politieke onrust plus de naderende winter die energieprijzen wellicht toch weer wat hoger gaan zetten . Daar profiteert SBM wellicht ook wel op z'n minst enigzins van

Het kan, maar omdat het kan is nog geen reden dat het ook gaat gebeuren.
De omstandigheden van toen zijn niet die van nu. Allen al de olieprijs die anders is.

Nieuwe opdracht voor SBM

In Guyana.

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) SBM Offshore heeft een opdracht gekregen van ExxonMobil voor het ontwerpen van een nieuwe FPSO. Dit maakte de oliedienstverlener vrijdagochtend bekend.

Het betreft het Front End Engineering en Design voor een drijvend productie-, opslag- en losschip, ofwel een FPSO, voor het Whiptail-project in Guyana.

Er moet nog een definitieve investeringsbeslissing door ExxonMobil Guyana worden genomen, maar bij groen licht zal SBM de FPSO ook bouwen en installeren. Vervolgens exploiteert en onderhoudt SBM de FPSO ook.

De FPSO zal worden ontworpen om 250.000 vaten olie per dag te produceren en kan ongeveer 2 miljoen vaten ruwe olie kunnen opslaan.

Er werden vrijdag geen financiële details bekendgemaakt.

Goed nieuws, tijdje geleden al bericht vanuit ING dat het er waarschijnlijk aan zat te komen met een positieve impact van ca 2 euro per aandeel zodra het operationeel is.

SBM Offshore awarded FEED contracts for Whiptail project in Guyana

SBM Offshore is pleased to announce it has been awarded contracts to perform Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) for a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO) for the Whiptail development project in Guyana.

Following FEED and subject to government approvals in Guyana of the development plan, project sanction including final investment decision by ExxonMobil Guyana Limited, an affiliate of ExxonMobil Corporation, to release the second phase of work, SBM Offshore will construct and install the FPSO. The FEED contract award triggers the initial release of funds by ExxonMobil Guyana Limited to begin FEED activities, and commits a Fast4Ward® hull for the execution of the Whiptail development project in Guyana.

Under the contracts, the FPSO’s ownership is expected to be transferred to the client at the end of the construction period and before start of operations in Guyana. The construction costs are expected to be partially funded by senior loans which will be repaid at the time of the FPSO’s transfer to the client.

SBM Offshore is expected to operate the FPSO through its integrated operations and maintenance model combining SBM Offshore and ExxonMobil’s expertise and experience, leveraging key learnings and the operational excellence of the units currently deployed in Guyana.

SBM Offshore will design and construct the FPSO using its industry-leading Fast4Ward® program using the Company’s seventh new build, Multi-Purpose Floater hull, combined with several standardized topsides modules. The FPSO will be designed to produce 250,000 barrels of oil per day, will have associated gas treatment capacity of 540 million cubic feet per day and water injection capacity of 300,000 barrels per day. The FPSO will be spread moored in water depth of about 1,630 meters and will be able to store around 2 million barrels of crude oil.

Building on the experience to date of FPSOs Liza Destiny, Liza Unity, Prosperity and ONE GUYANA, SBM Offshore continues to commit to local content development in Guyana by sourcing fabrication scope locally and integrating Guyanese engineers into the execution and operational teams.

Mooi, weer een FPSO erbij. Eens zien of dat vandaag iets met de koers doet en de beleggers wakker schudt. Ik verwacht een kleine opleving, die dan weer de komende beursdagen wegebt.
De 3e kwartaalcijfers op 9 november kunnen pas echt verandering brengen.

Ik verwacht vandaag zoals normaal gebeurt een flinke stijging en daarna een correctie, tweede beweging bij openen USA. Kunst is om ergens op de weg omhoog te verkopen en op de weg omlaag terug te kopen.

Nu zie je weer hoe elke opleving direct weer gebruikt wordt om aandelen te dumpen, en dus een opleving in de kiem gesmoord wordt. Het lijkt wel of een grotere belegger zijn belang aan het afbouwen is. Zo ja, dan zal wel binnenkort een desbetreffende melding bij de AFM binnenkomen. De stijging tot 12,28 na opening werd direct de grond in geboord.

Onzin zie omzet. Dat is klein spul.

Deze Exon order was al aangekondigd door ING (waarom zij dat eerder horen is me een raadsel)
IK neem tenminste aan dat er geen twee Exon orders komen....

Omzet is zoals gebruikelijk idd niet veel. Ik hoop dan ook, dat je gelijk hebt. En als dit nieuws al bekend was, verbaast het me, dat het nu pas geplaatst is. Maar dan begrijp ik wel waarom de koers op dit nieuws nu niet veel doet.
