Oftewel: defensieve motivatie en niet persé een investeringsvehikel voor HAD. Maar moet het UBER haupt nog zien dat het uiteindelijk naar de Duitsers gaat. Volgens mij hebben we hier met coma-zuipers te maken!

Encyclopedie valt wel mee, want ik had Google nodig om mijn eigen post terug te vinden. (Of je het nu leuk vindt of niet, ook als tomtom belegger kun je niks zonder Google :-))

Ik wist me alleen te herinneren dat ik het specifieke onderwerp van thematisch beleggen al eens onder de aandacht heb gebracht. Om twee redenen. De eerste is dat in een portefeuille over connected cars ook tomtom thuishoort en ik me heel goed kon voorstellen dat dit soort aandelenmandjes bestaat. De connected car (en later self driving car) is een van de mega trends dus iets voor thema beleggers.

Ik stelde toen ook dat dit voor een positieve onderstroom onder het aandeel tomtom kon zorgen, omdat indien er maar meer beleggers via zo'n thematisch fonds of zelfgebouwd mandje gaat beleggen, dit betekent dat er automatisch ook tomtom aandelen gekocht worden, nog los van het nieuws en cijfers van tomtom zelf. Het is gewoon een premium voor het aandeel om in markten actief te zijn waar fantasie in zit.

Ten tweede omdat ik met het volgen van tomtom wel meerdere bedrijven ben tegengekomen die ik het investeren waard vond en waar ik niet in ben gestapt. Twee concrete voorbeelden zijn NXP en Harman. Check maar wat de koers van Harman heeft gedaan sinds ze vanaf 2011 steeds meer grote orders wonnen in de auto markt.

Het samenstellen van een self driving / connected car mandje met aandelen zou zeker een leuke excercitie zijn. Bosch zou wat mij betreft ook in dat mandje horen. En zelfs het door iedereen overpriced genoemde Tesla, misschien met een put bescherming eronder als ie achteraf toch iets te hoog blijkt te staan.

@Justin zo'n self driving/connected car mandje lijkt mij een goed idee misschien iets voor een nieuw draadje. Ambarella en Luxoft hebben het de laatste jaar ook goed gedaan. Bosch zou er ook goed in passen (maar staat toch niet op de beurs) net zo als Airbiquity

Als je ziet met welk gemak google waar kocht en fb whatsapp voor miljarden dan vind ik verkoop here wel heel langzaam gaan.

Gelukkig heeft het wel weer positieve wending gekregen en staat TT weer boven de 10

Afgelopen week flink bijgekocht want verkoop zal toch keer gebeuren ...

En het begeleidende filmpje toont Road-DNA plaatjes op dat scherm in die Tesla. Tel daarbij op de info die ik kreeg van iemand op een verantwoordelijke post in de Eindoven - Helmond automotive campus dat er momenteel veel wordt gewerkt voor Tesla en dan zijn dat toch duidelijk signalen lijkt me.

Wel irritant dat er in zo'n leuk artikel over TomTom steeds "Click Here" staat. Schaamteloze sluikreclame van Nokia.

Maar toch: denk je nu echt dat die Duitsers TomTom All-in in de armen van Apple / Tesla / UBER willen drijven? Als je dat echt gelooft dan heb je er volgens mij echt totaal niets van gesnapt en zou je misschien best vriendjes van DZR kunnen worden. (Met "je" bedoel ik uiteraard niet jou, Vici, maar iedere lezer die de schoen past)

Inderdaad. Zoals ik al vaker zei: Road DNA voegt geen grotere absolute GPS-nauwkeurigheid toe, maar wel een grote nauwkeurigheid binnen de basismaps.
Dit ter verduidelijking.

P.S. Ben je van plan een evt. herziene versie van dat ING rapport te melden? Graag.

Ik denk niet dat de lust bij portefeuillebeheerders om zo'n hoog volatiel fonds als TOM2 toe te voegen erg hoog is. Wat een windvaantjes gedrag toch. Om moedeloos van te worden. Ik denk dat ik alles voor mijn vakantie (a.s. weekend) de deur uitdoe. De koers is nu dezelfde als 2 maanden geleden. De kans dat hij over een maand erg veel hoger staat is niet al te groot. In ieder geval hoef ik dan niet een paar keer per dag te kijken hoe de vlag er nu weer bijhangt.
