whatever, de koers staat veel te laag!

Voor iemand van uw leeftijd kent u uw spreekwoorden slecht. U snapt mijn bericht niet echt. Weet u zeker dat u geen 16 jaar oud bent?

Situatie was compleet anders.

Toen had Pharming succes met R&D, maar geen geld (en verloor zo een medicijn ontwikkeling)

SDV heeft aangegeven dat de ontwikkeling t.a.v. Pompe nog steeds mogelijkheden kan bieden en blijft gewoon in de pipeline tot nader berichten.
Past ook zeker wel in de strategie van Pharming/SDV om met specifieke medicijnen op de markt te komen, dus zodoende.

Dan is het nu voor eens en voor altijd duidelijk dat het Pompe onderzoek slechts vertraging opgelopen heeft. Is (gebrek aan) geld de grootste factor? Dan zou 't helemaal mooi zijn als Leniolisib goedgekeurd wordt. Kan Pharming een (nederlands) biotechbedrijf blijven.

Ben wel benieuwd van de H.H. wanneer we echt met de koers omhoog "'mogen".

De huidige koers is Pharming onwaardig te noemen, gezien het toekomst perspectief........ bij Galapagos wordt zeker met argusogen naar Pharming gekeken.... denk ik maar.....

Nee er is geld genoeg. Een chronologische volgorde over de jaren heen. Vertraging door supply chain disruptions en Covid ...;)

Yes. Shall I answer -- the first one first then, Simon, about Pompe. Pompe’s disease, we’ve taken -- of course, our product -- our development is hampered significantly at this point in time by unavailability of materials necessary for manufacturing. That is a problem that we have in the pharmaceutical supply chains widely, and we are no exception for that, unfortunately.

Secondly, so I can’t give you a proper date for the IND. With regards to the uncontinued medical -- unmet medical need. We’ve just done a deep dive into this indication. And we concluded that the unmet medical need is there -- is still there, and we expect it also to continue to be there. Also, because gene therapy might have some additional hurdles in such a lysosomal storage disease as Pompe compared to many of the other diseases.

So the answer is we continue to be interested in Pompe. We’re significantly delayed because of the COVID issues with manufacturing, and we have no data at the moment for an IND, therefore, as these supply chain disruptions are widely spread and COVID is not going back and not retreating, in fact. So it’s difficult to say at the moment. That’s my first question."

But again, it is not one of the main value drivers, as you could appreciate, because it's in preclinical, right? That's -- and in this comp of course, that's why."

Toch even een edit:

Genzyme heeft wel de Pompe-ontwikkeling bij Pharming weggekaapt.
Maar heeft dat programma uiteindelijk stopgezet.
Genzyme is met een andere celtechniek verder gegaan, waaruit Pompe-medicijnen Myozyme en Lumizyme zijn ontstaan.

Pharming heeft de oorspronkelijke techniek weer opgepakt.
Zou een beter en natuurlijke molecuul moeten opleveren.
