UK Sofa Retail Giant DFS to use LOFT engine to offer the consumer an Omni Channel experience
3D experience engine allows DFS to connect to the customer in-store and at-home
Doncaster UK, Amsterdam, 27th February 2014, NedSense enterprises n.v. [NYSE Euronext Amsterdam: NEDSE] announces that DFS has signed on to use the LOFT Web and LOFT Mobile SDK 3D Customer Experience Engine for an omni channel customer approach.
British sofa manufacturer and retailer DFS, is about to present their stylish and high quality products in 3D to a multitude of screens. Using the LOFT technology enables their customers to experience DFS products in 3D on their computer, on their iPad and in-store. DFS is the biggest sofa specialist in Britain, and plans to remain at the top for a long time by connecting to the customer in an omni channel fashion, with the help of the LOFT 3D Technology.
DFS already provides their customer with an iPad app, the “Sofa and Room Planner”. With the LOFT Mobile technology DFS aims to enrich the experience for their customers. The LOFT Web technology allows customer to view, experience and interact with DFS’ sofas from their mobile, laptop or home computer. Simply by uploading a photo of the room they want to redecorate, the customer gets a relevant view of how DFS products look and feel in their actual room, in 3D. Then when a customer visits a DFS store they can work one-on-one with a member of the sales team, using both the iPad app and Web solution, to choose their perfect sofa.
By integrating LOFT in their website, providing customers with an iPad app and empowering their sales team in-store, DFS has taken the next step in their omni channel customer experience approach.
