Amazon.com is in 1997 naar de beurs gegaan tegen een koers van 18$.
In mei 2020 had je 120.000% winst gemaakt. 3 stock splits meegegmaakt waarvan twee 2:1 en één 3:1.
1000% van 18$ is 180$. Dat was dus een prima instapmoment geweest.
Je doet net alsof zoiets onmogelijk is. Probeer nu eens groot te denken.

Precies. Je hoopt. Weten doe je dat niet. Dat is het verschil tussen traden/speculeren en beleggen/investeren. Een lange termijn visie. Je moet voor jezelf een situatie scheppen waarin alles goed is. Gaat het omhoog is het goed. Maar ook dalingen vind je helemaal niet erg, want dan koop je bij. Je moet je dan niet scheel staren op de prijs maar waarom je het aandeel/grondstof/crypto gekocht hebt.

Niet helemaal mee eens. Een slimme investeerder switch immers van petje.
Je hebt te veel filmpjes gezien van die Japanse Amerikaan die het boek rich dad poor dad schreef, vermoed ik.
Jammer te lezen dat je dergelijk sujet gelooft.

Die Japanner heb ik nooit gelezen. Het feit dat je graag 'van petje wisselt' impliceert dat je geen langere termijn verwachting formuleert en daarmee geen fundament hebt. Dat kan natuurlijk. Ieder zijn ding. De stelling dat dit de manier is die slimme beleggers volgen - en daarmee suggereren dat andere manieren minder slim zijn - behoeft onderbouwing.

ik zit erin, in de beste cryptoexchange van europa. was nog een heel gedoe met die elektronische identiteits controle. na 1 afwijzing dacht ik waar slaat dit allemaal op, maar de 2e keer werd ik goedgekeurd, wat dan weer meeviel.

gooi er elke week wat wisselgeld in, en dan maar kijken hoe het gaat.

die aandelen die ik koop, koop ik 3x per jaar, die zijn hoog geprijsd. ik pleit ook voor fracties, net zo als met die coins, maar voor dat iemand dat hier in europa oppakt, ben ik allang dood en begraven, denk ik.

nu kan in voor een 10tje crypto kopen, heeft niks met investeren te maken, meer gewoon eens kijken of het wat is.

Ik vermoed dat de koers nog naar beneden gaat op KT. Ik kan uiteraard mis zijn.
Net zoals u mis kunt zijn.
Op LT kan de koers van heel wat projecten zeker en vast nog naar boven, maar het kan evengoed dat BTC eerst eens serieus corrigeert en zelf lager zal gaan dan we al enkele jaren gezien hebben.

Het grappige is dat ik net even volgende zoektermen googlede: crypto + addiction.

Blijkbaar zijn er dus echt mensen die reeds therapie volgen voor een cryptoverslaving.

Ach zo zijn er velen die verslaaft zijn aan daytrading met derivaten/pennystocks/etc. Wat wil je daar eigenlijk meezeggen? Uiteraard komt dat ook voor bij het handelen in crypto.

De Statenfractie van JA21 zegt in principe blij te zijn met de komst van de datacenters, maar vraagt zich wel af wat het Flevoland oplevert. Daarom wil de partij dat het college van Gedeputeerde Staten kijkt of het mogelijk is een fonds te starten van waaruit elke volwassen Flevolander een bedrag in cryptovaluta krijgt.

Het idee daarachter is dat het laat zien wat de functie is van de datacenters, maar ook om het draagvlak te vergroten onder de bevolking. Daarnaast is het mooie reclame voor de provincie en nuttig dat mensen kennis maken met cryptovaluta, omdat dit volgens de partij het geld van de toekomst is. JA21 hoopt dat de datacenters ook geld storten in dat fonds om zo hun maatschappelijke betrokkenheid te tonen.

Why it matters: New efforts under the Biden administration reflect a break from the Trump-era approach, in which the administration at times encouraged cryptocurrency use within the financial system.

Michael Hsu, who was appointed this month as acting U.S. Comptroller of the Currency, told the FT that he wants U.S. officials to work together to set a "regulatory perimeter" for crypto.

Hsu testified at a congressional hearing earlier this month that, after seeing fintechs create new payment processing tools, "it is hard not to feel some déjà vu" to the years preceding the 2008 financial crisis.
The new techniques give rise “to a large and less regulated shadow banking system," he said.

Het zal heel moeilijk te begrijpen zijn voor de cryptobeten alhier, maar bitcoin wordt al gereguleerd. Het wordt gereguleerd door een cryptografisch algoritme. Het enige wat je kunt reguleren is de ingang, van fiat naar crypto, en de uitgang, van crypto naar fiat. Verder meen ik dat onze toezichthouders, de frisgewassen helden die zo onbaatzuchtig onze belangen behartigen, genoeg te stellen hebben met hun eigen fiat muntjes die ze zo langzamerhand aardig de vernieling in reguleren. Maar dat muntje zal waarschijnlijk wat later gaan vallen.

As Acting Comptroller of the Currency, Mr. Hsu is the administrator of the federal banking system and chief executive officer of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). His career has included serving as a Financial Sector Expert at the International Monetary Fund, Financial Economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury helping to establish the Troubled Assets Relief Program, and Financial Economist at the Securities and Exchange Commission overseeing the largest securities firms.
