ECB steps in over Swift’s ISO 20022 migration delay

The letter highlights the concerns held regarding the postponed adoption of ISO 20022 for cross-border payments as negatively affecting banks’ internal adaptation plans for the migration to the T2S service. European banks have worked under that assumption that their capability to send existing MT messaging would be decommissioned after November 2021, however, as this assumption is now void European banks will have to review their plans on short notice.

Ripple News Today: FXcoin to Develop XRP-Based Global Payment System as XRP Price Surges Above the $0.24 Level – July 31st, 2020

In the announcement, FXcoin noted that they will be setting up an XRP-powered swap market that will allow them to take advantage of the XRP token by hedging price movements. To power this project, FXcoin received a bulk sum as investment from Ripple’s number one Asian partner, SBI Holdings. Along with the investment, the exchange signed a contract for a third party equity allocation deal with SBI. Just like the investment amount was not revealed, the number of shares and the amount per share purchased by SBI were not revealed.

ING Bank, Rolls Royce Join Alliance to Promote Blockchain Education
Blockchain accelerator MouseBelt said Monday both Rolls Royce and ING Bank, as well as Belgium brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev and margin-first trading platform Multi.io, had joined its Blockchain Education Alliance.
Launched in October 2019, it also tries to link corporate blockchain projects up with researchers, students, and new protocols.
Mastercard, Stellar as well as the incubator arms for Binance and Ripple, are some of the other companies part of the Blockchain Education Alliance.

Het is mij nog niet helemaal duidelijk of ik ook kan claimen als ik een Ripple Wallet heb op de computer maar geen ETH wallet. Misschien kan het binnenkort ook op de website van Gatehub? Hoe dan ook, erg interessant die spark token!

Volgens mij moet je ook een ethereum adres hebben. Die kan je makkelijk aanmaken, bijvoorbeeld met apps als Trust wallet of breadwallet op je telefoon.

Op 12/12/20 is het ijkmoment, dus nog voldoende tijd om je te verdiepen en mocht Gatehub niet aansluiten een andere mogelijkheid te vinden, bijv XUMM.
