Ablynx – voba probability in RA reduced to 40% from 50%; PT unchanged Following AbbVie’s decision not to opt-in to vobarilizumab for the RA indication, we have reduced our probability of success to 40% from 50%. Whilst Ablynx is planning for future development, a Phase III trial will require successfully partnering the product. Our €21 per share Price Target is unchanged.

Deze fondsmanagers hebben waarschijnlijk bij de NASA gewerkt.....stuwraketten en lanceerinrichtingen!

Misschien omdat we nog 4 euro lager staan dan de koers op 1 januari 2016 en er een koersdoel staat van 21 euro ?

Misschien omdat GLPG op dit moment 4x hoger wordt ingeschat dan Ablynx ?

Misschien dat er snel een deal aan zit te komen ?

Misschien zijn de shorters aan het coveren ?

Misschien belangrijke ontwikkelingen in de pipeline (MErck ) ?

Misschien een aanstaande overname ?

Wegvallen van de speculatietaks is een mooie zaak maar voel voorlopig nog niet de minste behoefte om er eens gebruik van te maken. Afgelopen week was mooi maar ik verwacht dat de volgende nog mooier wordt. Ze zullen woensdag toch wel wat te vertellen hebben, mijn gedacht.

ja, je brengt geen persbericht uit dat je iets gaat presenteren en dan heb je niets te presenteren... Maar als het zeer koersgevoelig nieuws is, dan moeten ze het voorbeurs brengen. Dat zal het dan dus wel ook niet zijn.....

Veel bedrijven wijden net als Ablynx een persbericht vooraf aan hun deelname aan een conferentie georganiseerd door een bank zoal JP Morgan. Er zijn er ook die dit alleen op hun website melden (zoals Galapagos).
Dit betekent op zich niets over het wel of wee van die bedrijven. Interessanter is het als zij rond zo een conferentie een specifiek persbericht publiceren, met daarin informatie over voortgang van projecten en bereiken van markt aandelen. Ik denk echter niet dat Ablynx iets nieuws te melden heeft. Dat is ook niet nodig bij conferenties gericht op investor relations.

Bij deelnames op wetenschappelijke conferenties is het wel zaak om iets zinnigs te melden te hebben.
