Ik denk dat er nog veel potentie is en ik zit er zelf volop in, maar ik realiseer mij ook dat het wat gemakkelijker is als je enkele weken geleden bent ingestapt dan nu nog instappen.
Het is echter zo'n fantastisch product/oplossing dat ik nog nog steeds erg enthousiast ben. het is een echte game-changer.

Gisteren even gekeken naar verschil in omzet tussen de laatste cijfers vergeleken met een jaar eerder; ik was niet erg onder de indruk. Ter vergelijking: Biofrontera (met gamechanger ameluz) verdubbelt de omzet bijna op jaarbasis en gaat daar hopelijk nog even mee door. Beetje appels/peren verhaal natuurlijk, maar het gaat om het voorbeeld. Maar ik sta graag open voor argumenten die ik nog niet zie.

Even heel wat anders: ik zit te kijken naar een crowdfunding project om te investeren dmv een converteerbare lening. Ziet er wat mij betreft interessant uit, en ook de filosofie er achter spreekt me aan. Investment sheet en alles doorgelezen, dus ik weet wat de risico's zijn.
Zijn er echter nog andere zaken waar ik aan moet denken die ik over het hoofd zie?

Ik heb helemaal geen ervaring met dit soort crowdfundingprojecten. Helaas moet ik je dat antwoord verschuldigd blijven. Weet iemand anders dit misschien?

Ik heb er ook nog geen ervaring mee, vandaar de vraag. Gaan ze dan verder met het bedrag wat wel opgehaald is, of wordt het opgehaalde bedrag teruggestort en gaan ze naar andere financiering zoeken? wellicht dat ik de organisatie een keer bel komende week om dat duidelijk te krijgen...

Het is gewoon in casino geworden rood of groen. Nu groen vanavond rood.

De handels oorlog wordt alleen maar heftiger. Vanavond laat Trump weer een scheet en de boel dondert in elkaar.

In het algemeen wordt dan het opgehaalde bedrag teruggestort en gaat de boel niet door óf een andere financiering.

(Euronext Paris, NASDAQ Copenhagen: ONXEO), (“Onxeo” or “the Company”), a clinical-stage biotechnology company specializing in the development of innovative drugs targeting tumor DNA Damage Response (DDR) in oncology, in particular against rare or resistant cancers, today announced positive final results from the DRIIV-1 phase 1 study assessing the safety and the activity of AsiDNA™, the Company’s first-in-class DNA repair inhibitor, when administered intravenously in patients with advanced solid tumors.

Importantly, the optimal active dose of AsiDNA™ has been determined and is being utilized in our ongoing DRIIV-1b study combining AsiDNA™ with chemotherapy. We intend to present the full results of the DRIIV-1 study at future scientific meetings."

AsiDNA™ is the first compound of a novel class of anti-tumor products. By simulating a DNA break (decoy effect), it binds to the DNA-repairing proteins, thereby preventing the recruitment of these proteins to the damaged genomic site, leading to tumor cells death.

DRIIV-1, a phase 1 dose-escalation study of AsiDNA™ administered intravenously, was designed to evaluate its toxicity profile as well as its pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics parameters via intratumoral activity biomarkers. The study was conducted in four centers in France and Belgium and enrolled twenty-two adult patients. All patients had metastatic cancers and were failing or progressing after one or more standard treatments with no further therapeutic options.

Five dose levels have been tested (from 200 to 1,300mg) out of the six planned. It was deemed unnecessary to test the sixth dose (1,800mg) since the therapeutic window between the optimal dose of 600mg and the highest tested dose of 1,300mg is considered sufficient.

Overall, the tolerance profile of AsiDNA™ was considered favorable by the DSMB experts, with 90% of all product-related adverse events being non-specific grade 1 and 2 events. The maximum tolerated dose (MTD) was not reached.

Most importantly, AsiDNA™ demonstrated systemic activity in DRIIV-1 through the strong activation of its targets, as evidenced by the significant increase, of two intratumoral biomarkers of DNA-PK and the decrease of a tumor proliferation biomarker. At the dose of 600mg, among the 3 patients included in the cohort, 2 patients with relapsed multi-treated metastatic colorectal cancer were controlled without progression at medical imaging at the end of the second cycle of treatment with AsiDNA™, with maintenance of treatment for 3 months.

This dose was considered optimal for the further development of AsiDNA™ in combination with chemotherapy (carboplatin and carboplatin plus paclitaxel) which started early May 2019 with the first patient treated in the phase 1b trial, DRIIV-1b.

Zymeworks vancouver aan het overwegen, ook NYSE genoteerd. Market cap circa 600 US en ruim 800CAD. leuke pipeline en potentiele milestones en royalties.
Lijken leuke ontwikkelingen in kankers te realiseren. Hebben ook een paar beschermde ontwikkelingssystemen. cap is natuurlijk in miljoenen.

De beurs gaat vroeg of laat herstellen, feit is Amerika deed het op alle vlak de laatste 2 weken slecht. Denk eerder dat Palati^n bij een herstellende beurs hard kan stijgen. Al mag futura medical dat ook doen heb ik ook. Komt goed beetje geduld

Ik heb zelf in een aantal crowdfundprojecten via Symbid geïnvesteerd. Mijn ervaring is dat veel projecten wel het benodigde geld ophalen maar toch stranden. Hetzij omdat de kosten toch hoger zijn dan gedacht, of omdat het moeilijker blijkt de volgende financieringsronde op tijd rond te krijgen, of omdat de markt toch wat rooskleuriger was geschetst dan de werkelijkheid. 3 van de 8 projecten waar ik in investeerden zijn failliet (ik wacht op de afhandeling van het faillissement. 1 heeft het heel zwaar vanwege tegenvallende marktomstandigheden en eentje kan z'n belofte wat betreft incentives niet nakomen. Slechts eentje is er geconverteerd naar aandelen, maar dat is nog geen garantie voor rendement.
Ik zou dus goed nadenken of je bereid bent om alles te verliezen. Hou er rekening mee dat het niet gaat zoals je gehoopt had. Daar staat tegenover dat als het wel goed gaat, dat er dan ook een flink rendement te halen valt. Ik hoop alleen voor mezelf dat dat de missers gaat compenseren.
Naar het project zelf heb ik overigens niet gekeken. Site deed het niet...
