Neerstorten twee Boeings 737 MAX.

Rond 2015 werd het toestel ontwikkeld. Er was 9 maanden achterstand op de ontwikkeling van het toestel van concurrent Airbus, de Airbus 320 neo.

Om ontwikkeling te bespoedigen heeft men de veiligheidsonderzoeken, uitgevoerd door Boeing en de FAA, aangepast. Onder andere een onderdeel werd gedelegeerd naar Boeing zelf. Het betrof veiligheidscontrole op de ontwikkeling van de MCAS(Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System). Boeing hield de FAA wel op de hoogte maar deed het veiligheidsprotocol zelf.

Het MCAS analyseert de wind op de neus van het toestel en corrigeert de neus automatisch op of neerwaarts. Bij het opstijgen grepen piloten in om de neus naar boven te krijgen. Echter de automatische MCAS stelde de neus naar beneden bij. Tot het punt dat het max aantal herstel bewegingen, door de piloot kon worden ingesteld om nog naar boven te corrigeren, was bereikt. Daarna niet meer en met de neus naar omlaag crashte het toestel.

De rechter heeft toestemming gegeven de search warrant voor Michael Cohen vrij te geven in redacted(gegevens doorgestreept als email , adres telefoons etc) vorm.

De search warrant zal morgen 19 3 2019 worden vrijgegeven. Zal mogelijk het bewijsmateriaal aangeven op basis waarvan Mueller gerechtigd was huiszoeking te doen bij Cohen.

87.000 properties , more than Pound Sterling 100 billion in UK, secretly owned by companies registered in tax havens. 40% of these properties are owned in London.

Geld gestald in belasting paradijzen, waarbij de eigenaars anoniem blijven overspoelt de huizenmarkt.
Dit gebeurt uit dit onderzoek in Engeland.

Maar ook in de US en ook Nederland komt er geld van deze belastingparadijzen in de huizenmarkt.

Hoeveel lager zouden de huizenprijzen niet zijn als dit systeem de kop wordt ingedrukt. Een marktsysteem met eerlijke partijen , zonder een grootmacht aan zwart geld dat de huizenprijzen onnodig opjaagt.

National Emergency op 15 2 2019 afgekondigd.

Nu eindelijk op 18 3 2019 komt acting Secretary of Department of Defence , Patrick Shanahan, met een lijst van projecten , waar hij het geld vandaan wil halen.
Het betreft constructieprojecten van defensie. Hiervoor was al geld voor vrijgemaakt. De projecten zouden na september uitgevoerd worden(Boekjaar 2020 begint in september). Shanahan wil dit geld opeisen en het Pentagon de projecten laten uitstellen.

Het betreft nog maar een opgave van een lijst. Of hij er toestemming voor krijgt , is nog afwachten.

Er zijn nog geen plannen ingediend voor waar het geld voor gebruikt gaat worden. Met name welke projecten van de muur.

Een nationale nood situatie . Nu een maand verder en Trump is nog niets opgeschoten. De noodsituatie wordt niet echt met verve aangepakt.

Overstromingen Mid West US

Het team van Trump staat in nauw contact met de Governor of Iowa, Kim Reynolds.

Naast het feit dat infrastructuur en huizen onder water staan, is er nog een probleem.

Door de sancties op China nam China tegensancties aangaande o.a. US graan en soya bonen. Boeren werden gecompenseerd voor niet verkochte hoeveelheden. Graan en soya werd opgeslagen in silo's. Echter door de overstromingen zijn grote partijen van de voorraad door het water aangetast. Trump zal met additionele compensaties over de brug moeten komen.

Het rapport van Robert Mueller is er nog niet.
Toch nemen advocaten al een standpunt mocht het rapport verschijnen. Normaal gaat het rapport naar de Attorney General van Department of Justice, William Barr. Deze zal het aan het Witte Huis , het Congress en het Huis overhandigen.

Echter de advocaten van het Witte Huis willen het rapport exclusief op voorhand zien. Zij claimen een executive privilege over de documenten en interviews met het Witte Huis. Indien Trump Executive Privilege claimt, kan dit worden aangevochten door de Democraten.

Is het rapport gemaakt in opdracht van en voor het volk, of heeft Trump recht het als eerste in te zien en eventueel aanpassingen te maken.

4 maart werden er verzoeken gestuurd naar 81 individuen om documentatie te leveren in het onderzoek naar obstructie door Trump van het gerechtelijk onderzoek.
18 maart was de deadline. Veel hebben de documenten ingestuurd, anderen gaven aan alleen dit te doen als er een subpoena is.

Onder meer Steve Bannon heeft documenten ingeleverd. Jerry Nadler heeft een goede basis om het onderzoek voort te zetten.

California GOP Rep. Devin Nunes filed a major lawsuit seeking $250 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages against Twitter and a handful of its users on Monday, accusing the social media site of "shadow-banning conservatives" to secretly hide their posts, systematically censoring opposing viewpoints, and totally "ignoring" lawful complaints of repeated abusive behavior.

In a complaint filed in Virginia state court on Monday, obtained by Fox News, Nunes claimed Twitter wanted to derail his work on the House Intelligence Committee, which he chaired until 2019, as he looked into alleged and apparent surveillance abuses by the government. Nunes said Twitter was guilty of "knowingly hosting and monetizing content that is clearly abusive, hateful and defamatory – providing both a voice and financial incentive to the defamers – thereby facilitating defamation on its platform."

The complaint also named "Devin Nunes’ Mom," "a person who, with Twitter’s consent, hijacked Nunes’ name, falsely impersonated Nunes’ mother, and created and maintained an account on Twitter (@DevinNunesMom) for the sole purpose of attacking, defaming, disparaging and demeaning Nunes."

Nunes lawyers' wrote, "In her endless barrage of tweets, Devin Nunes’ Mom maliciously attacked every aspect of Nunes’ character, honesty, integrity, ethics and fitness to perform his duties as a United States Congressman."

Another account named as a defendant was "Devin Nunes' Cow," or @DevinCow, which purportedly called Nunes a "treasonous cowpoke" and an "udder-ly worthless" criminal.

The Air Force has published a budgetary document that says research, development, testing and evaluation of the new Air Force Ones -- officially known as the Presidential Aircraft Recapitalization -- will cost $2.87 billion between fiscal years 2015 and 2021. However, the project is expected to extend beyond 2021, and experts told PolitiFact it would likely require another $1 billion in subsequent years to finish the job. The Teal Group has estimated that the project will require an additional $858 million between fiscal years 2022 and 2026.

That adds up to a grand total of $3.73 billion over 12 years.

President Donald Trump reached an informal deal with Boeing Co. on a fixed-price contract for the new Air Force One program that will cost $3.9 billion, according to White House officials.

White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said Tuesday that the agreement will save taxpayers $1.4 billion from the original estimate for two presidential aircraft and the development program associated with purchasing and outfitting them, although it wasn’t clear where that estimate came from.

The cost of buying, equipping, and preparing to operate the two Boeing 747s that will become the next Air Force One presidential transport aircraft is now pegged at $5.3 billion, nearly one-third more than the figure routinely touted by the White House, according to Air Force officials and Pentagon budget documents.

The projected price tag — included in the Pentagon’s fiscal 2020 budget proposal — marks the first time the Defense Department has provided a total cost estimate for the project. It includes not only the cost of the planes themselves, but also work to build a new hangar complex at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and other administrative, engineering, and development work.

“The total VC-25B acquisition cost…is $5.3B and encompasses all costs associated with fielding the system,” Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek wrote in an email Monday, referring to the new Air Force One by its military designation.

trump en zijn budget:

Trump deliberately withheld standard info about his budget until today, a week after it came out, making most detailed analysis impossible until now. Here is a new thread on Trump's budget, which I'll be updating throughout the day.

His budget calls for cutting SNAP by 30%.

Remember that infrastructure plan Trump touted, where he said that he was investing $199 billion into infrastructure?

He cuts transportation by $286 billion. And this doesn't even include other kinds of infrastructure like housing. This is why the admin withheld this info.

Trump's budget calls for $3.5 billion in cuts to WIC, which provides food assistance to infants, toddlers, and pregnant moms. WIC serves over 6 million people and is incredibly effective.

Section 8 helps over 3 million households afford rent. It is already drastically underfunded - roughly only 1/4 of eligible people are on it. Trump would cut it by 13 percent, kicking struggling families out into the streets.

The Trump budget would cut the CDC in third!!!! You want a public health crisis? This is how you get a public health crisis!

Trump would cut Head Start by 17 percent. So much for caring about children.

Trump would cut the EPA by nearly FORTY-FIVE percent! It's pretty safe to say he doesn't care about the planet.

Trump would cut NASA by 22 percent - over $30 billion. With this, the EPA cuts, the NSF cuts, the CDC cuts, the NOAA cuts, the USGS cuts, etc., his budget would destroy long-term investments.

Trump's budget would destroy our federal education efforts. He calls for a 26% to elementary, secondary, & vocational education. He calls for a 64% cut higher education. He calls for a 44% cut to research & general education aids. In total, he'd cut education funding by $377 bn.

Goed nieuws. Rosenstein is de steun achter Robert Mueller.

Nu nog afwachten hoe de nieuwe baas van Rosenstein en Mueller zich profileert. William Barr is de nieuwe Attorney General van Department of Justice.

Hij is jurist en overeenkomstig zijn eed moet hij eerlijke en rechtvaardige beslissingen nemen.

inmiddels hoort de VS, althans zeker gezien de politiek en de sociale voorzieningen en de corruptie, tot de bananenrepublieken.
echter als daar een tropische storm van het kaliber trump in de buurt komt, dan horen we dat vele dagen van tevoren en wordt er per uur verslag gedaan van de schade en de gevolgen.
aan de oostkust van Afrika hoor je in dat geval vele dagen niets tot de schade aanzienlijk blijkt te zijn en komen er wat losse beelden en
berichten over de vele doden.

zo krom als het feit dat trump alle aandacht (meestal negatieve) naar zich toetrekt, zo krom is het ondergeschikte belang van rampen elders.
