Toen ik afgelopen 2 weken nog 2 Azie-fondsen aan mij voorbij zag flitsen, dacht ik, met het vandaag binnenkomende SA.V-bericht............
.........even zo'n draad.
Dit is voor mij "het archief":)

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2009) - East Asia Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:EAS) reports that diamond drilling has further expanded the Main Miwah Gold Zone in Aceh Province, Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Results have been received for hole EMD013 drilled east of previous EAS drilling where 1.28 g/t gold over 183.5 metres, including 2.11 g/t gold over 77.7 metres was intersected in EMD012A. EMD013 encountered 1.00 g/t gold over 153.7 metres, including 1.41 g/t gold over 91.5 metres. The hole ended in mineralization grading 1.69 g/t gold over the last 4 metres. To date East Asia has drilled more than 900 metres strike length along the shallow, laterally extensive 1.2 kilometre long Main Miwah Gold Zone, and has encountered wide intercepts of gold mineralization in all holes drilled. The Main Miwah Gold Zone remains open in all directions.

Work at the Lower Tengkereng project has provided confidence to improve on grades from the limited historic drilling. Surface channel sampling by East Asia at Lower Tengkereng, including 31 metres of 0.77 g/t gold plus 0.03% copper and 116 metres of 0.33 g/t gold plus 0.04% copper, confirms the presence of gold-rich porphyry mineralization (see March 2, 2009 news release). These results are significantly better than the historical drill intercepts from the upper 90 metres of the Lower Tengkereng porphyry system, beneath which 339 metres of 0.5 g/t gold plus 0.2% copper were encountered. At Upper Tengkereng East Asia drilled a 646.25 metre hole averaging 0.39 g/t gold plus 0.21% copper (0.68 g/t gold equivalent(i)), including 268 metres of 0.57 g/t gold plus 0.26% copper (0.92 g/t gold equivalent(i)) from 318 to 586 metres. Significant near surface gold mineralization was also intercepted, including 14 to 82 metres (68 metres) of 0.51 g/t gold plus 0.21% copper (0.80 g/t gold equivalent(i)).

Work at the Bahu project is near completion to provide drill targets in an area where porphyry gold mineralization and alteration have been defined over a 1.6 by 0.9 kilometres area. This project has not been previously drilled. Channel sampling of intense quartz vein stockwork (in excess of 20% quartz vein density) has encountered 30 metres at 0.71 g/t gold with 0.034% copper, 36 metres at 0.65 g/t gold with 0.031% copper, 40 metres at 0.59 g/t gold, and 46 metres at 0.75 g/t gold with 0.027% copper.

(i)The Upper Tengkereng gold equivalent used a copper to gold ratio of 1:1.36 (1% copper equals 1.36 gm gold); based on then current metal market prices, and assuming total recoveries of both metals.

RIO Tinto has been given a mining permit for its planned $US2 billion ($2.2bn) nickel project on Sulawesi, making it the first miner to gain investment approval under Indonesia's new mining law.
Indonesia last year introduced a law which replaced the old contract system with mining permits, which many feared would reduce legal certainty for companies and make investing here more difficult.

The Anglo-Australian miner said it could now review its options for developing the Sulawesi site, and would focus on determining the method of development that provides the best value.

Rio Tinto has previously estimated the Sulawesi project could produce 46,000 tonnes of nickel a year by 2015, eventually rising to 100,000 tonnes a year or more, which the company says would make it one of the world's largest nickel producers.

The IBP Coal Project

On 3 December, 2009 the Company announced that it had entered into an exclusive due diligence period with Daun Consulting Limited ("DCL") to purchase the coal concession of PT Indobara Pratama ("IBP"). As a result of DCL's failure to place a US$1 million deposit into escrow as required by the agreement, the exclusive period has now expired.

Despite this, the Directors are pleased to be able to confirm that the Company has recently been approached by three parties interested in acquiring the coal concession of IBP, two of whom have now submitted formal expressions of interest. The Directors remain confident that a sale of the coal concession of IBP can be completed on terms satisfactory to the shareholders of IBP and the Company.

IBP is already permitted for production and has the potential to be an open-cut coal mine. KLG completed a 4600m drilling programme on the concession that indicates a potential deposit of 270 MTs of between 4,894 and 5,376 kcal/kg coal (air dried basis), with low ash and low sulfur content (see KLG press release dated March 26, 2009).
